SILICON is looking for a new Business Developer who is going to develop our South European Market! You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for an exceptional Business Developer who possesses a deep understanding of the Petrochem market and possesses a strong commercial mindset. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a technical or commercial background;
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar B2B role within a technical or commercial environment;
- Knowledge of the Refractory business
- Excellent knowledge of international sales processes;
- A proven ability to prospect new clients and close deals from scratch;
- Proactive, social, and good presentation skills;
- Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written, at a business level;
- Knowledge of the industry;
- Knowledge of the East European Market;
- Willingness to travel around the world to visit our clients.
- In possession of a valid driver’s license
Responsibilities:
As our Business Developer, you’ll have the exciting task of visiting prospective customers. You’ll spend at least 50% of your time engaging with clients, while also being accountable for the following:
- Finding new opportunities in the market and investigate possible collaborations;
- Managing sales turnover and margins;
- Collaborating with team members to identify and manage sales risks and opportunities for SILICON;
- Follow up leads that are targeted by our Marketing team;
- Ensuring comprehensive reporting of visits and opportunities;
- Maintaining good communication and cooperation with other departments;
- Market research and analyses of the Petrochem industry;
- Give presentations and demonstrations to show our products to the client together with our engineers.
