POSITION OVERVIEW

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic business opportunities within the maritime travel and tours sector. This includes cruise holidays, yacht charters, island excursions, and other marine-based tourism experiences. The role focuses on expanding the company’s client base, building strong partnerships, and driving revenue growth through innovative business strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in travel, tourism, or hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of maritime travel products such as cruises, yacht charters, and island tours.
  • Proven track record in generating leads and closing high-value deals.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development plans to target new markets in maritime travel and tourism.
  • Identify and approach potential clients, travel agents, corporate accounts, and event organizers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B and B2C clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction with corporate clients
  • Negotiate contracts, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the company’s offerings.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and trends.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company’s services.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to design and implement promotional campaigns.
  • Prepare proposals, sales pitches, and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate business development records and track performance against KPIs.
  • Collaborate with operations and reservations teams to ensure smooth execution of services.
