Please note: This position requires both inside and outside office capabilities. Guaranteed base pay (NO DRAW) + commissions and bonus opportunities. Base Pay is based on level of proven experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of previous sales experience.
  • B2B experience.
  • Proficient in Google web platforms (Sheets, Docs, Drive).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Ability to work from our Schaumburg office Monday - Friday (some Saturdays and on-call as needed).
  • Punctuality is a must – Office hours are 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE

Our Business Development Account Managers are responsible for generating new sales opportunities via phone, email, and other electronic communication methods. They also respond to customer orders and quote requests received through outside leads, telephone inquiries, email, and written correspondence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate leads via outbound calling, email, and prospecting within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure customer retention by maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Provide pricing and delivery information in response to customer inquiries.
  • Monitor previously contacted leads and follow up to ensure timely customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure resolution of any delivery issues and customer concerns.
  • Meet KPI targets set forth by the Director of Operations/Sales.
