Allyn International is in search of an Business Development Analyst to grow within our Sales Department in our Fort Myers, FL location. Our core products include transportation management, logistics sourcing, freight forwarding, supply chain consulting, tax management, and trade compliance operational support and consulting.
What does a Business Development Analyst do?
The Business Development Analyst will be a core member of Allyn’s Sales Support Team. This role enables Operations and Senior Leaders to focus on consultative selling by handling referral management, introduction mapping, outreach cadence building/monitoring, client visit mapping, sales presentation creation and design, sales paperwork (RFIs/questionnaires), and CRM data quality/reporting. The Business Development Analyst ensures every prioritized connection receives timely, tailored touches and that leadership has clear, company-level visibility into pipeline and engagement, and ensure consistency in Allyn Business development operations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree
  • Program and project management experience preferred
  • Sales or marketing experience preferred

Responsibilities
  • Data management in CRM and Lead Generation software
  • Research and procurement of leads according to current business strategy (e.g., by location, position, industry, etc)
  • Analytics of company progress with leads to inform strategy
  • Keeping appointments on the calendar for sales and business leaders with prospective clients
  • Identify leads
  • Maintain leads
  • Contact leads via phone, email, or mail
  • Set up sales meetings for operations managers
  • Compose letters or emails for sales calls
  • Develop Sales and Marketing presentations
  • Complete sales documents such as Requests for Information / Proposals, surveys, etc.
  • Follow up with current leads on a regular basis
  • Other sales, marketing, and business development projects (e.g., assisting with writing marketing publications, business development presentations) as assigned by the Manager
