Description

Business Development Analyst Purpose: * Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Business Development Analyst who will report to the VP of Business Development and provide key support to Business Area Managers, Operations Managers, and the Portfolio and Product Managers. Job Description: * Support account planning, identification, intelligence gathering, and competitive intelligence across the portfolio of capabilities. * Contribute to the development of a robust pipeline and specific opportunities * Research acquisition pathways and customer planning and budget documents * Support the development of briefings, demos, and proposals * Perform research to support the development of strategies and tactics to help grow the portfolio * Conduct research of competitors, market insights, customer demographics, potential partners and more * Providing daily assistance to the BD team in support of bid and proposal efforts * Maintain CRM and work with capture, proposal, and operations leads to ensure information is up to date * Support the development and delivery of internal reports to include weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to leadership and the board. * Develop and maintain action trackers including email and meeting follow-up and action item tracking. * Provide support and special oversight for special projects and initiatives. Qualifications: * Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent * Must have extensive experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. * Must have the strong ability to organize and complete multiple tasks. * Must be a self-starter that requires little supervision. * Must have exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills. * Must have excellent verbal communication skills. * Must have proven time-management skills, Organization skills, and Interpersonal skills. Desired Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree preferred. * Experience in a business development environment preferred. Security Requirements: * Must have an ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance Travel Requirements: * Occasional Travel- around 20% Physical Requirements: * Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods. * Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. * Communicating with others to exchange information. * Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. * Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
