Our European ambition continues to grow as we step into new sectors including B2B, CE insurance and trade in products Job Description The Business Development function is the growth engine of our SquareTrade, responsible for originating new partnerships and opening new sectors for the company. The team is currently looking for a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating closely with stakeholders across the company. Key responsibilities of the role include: • External and internal research, analysis and competitor intelligence to support client facing meetings, pursuits and proposals • Understanding and addressing the key requirements of potential new partnerships, collaborating with our Pricing, Account Management, Operations, Technology, and Legal teams • Preparation of presentations and proposals for clients • Building and maintaining a pipeline of new revenue generating opportunities • Improving and streamlining the existing Business Development processes • Staying informed on key market trends and developments • Job Location: London • Reports to Senior Business Development Manager Qualifications Requirements • Degree-level education • At least 2-3 years of working experience in a fast-paced environment • Experience in consulting, business development, account management preferred • Experience in and knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus • Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular PowerPoint and Excel • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Passion for problem solving, with demonstrated critical thinking skills and creativity • Outstanding attention to detail, always ensuring high quality of output • Team player who enjoys working with others to achieve a common goal Additional Information We work in a hybrid model: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
