The team works closely with the Innovation and Commercial Research Unit and broader UOW stakeholders to champion entrepreneurship, foster collaboration, and support impactful ventures. The Business Development and Initiatives Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for driving growth, strategic engagement, and high‑level partnerships across the iAccelerate ecosystem. Working closely with the Director of iAccelerate, this position leads business development activities, identifies and secures funding opportunities, and strengthens relationships with government, industry, and the startup and accelerator community. The role oversees pipeline development, resident recruitment, and the delivery of funded initiatives, while also providing mentorship and support to resident companies. With a strong focus on strategic planning, ecosystem development, and operational excellence, the Business Development and Initiatives Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of iAccelerate and contributing to UOW’s broader research and innovation goals.
