BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION Location: Accra Industry: Healthcare Benefits: Private medical insurance Our client is a leading healthcare provider and diagnostic centre committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services, operational excellence, and exceptional patient care. Scope The Business Development & Marketing Manager will primarily be responsible for driving revenue growth, increasing service utilisation across key units, building strategic referral networks, and strengthening the organisation’s position as a preferred diagnostic centre within its service area. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, healthcare providers and insurers to drive referrals and partnerships. Drive B2B and B2C demand generation initiatives to increase patient access to services. Develop and deliver customised presentations and proposals, manage bids and negotiate contracts. Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns to promote diagnostic and clinical services. Track and manage sales pipeline, conversion rates, and service utilisation metrics. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships. Strengthen relationships with clinicians and key stakeholders to drive referrals. Manage end to end sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals while achieving revenue targets Monitor market trends, client needs, and industry developments to inform business development strategies. Collaborate with the operations team to improve patient experience and service delivery. Support pricing, packaging, and service positioning to enhance competitiveness. Requirements Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or any related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare business development, diagnostics, or hospital marketing. Experience managing pipelines, tracking conversions, and working with performance targets Proven track record of driving revenue growth and increasing service utilisation. Strong commercial acumen to support business growth. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Competencies Results-Driven, Analytical, Client-Oriented, Persuasive, Confident Communicator, Problem-Solving.
