The Finnovate.io team is growing again, and we’re seeking a hard-working, motivated individual to join our team as a Business Development Associate. We are a software development agency working with companies of all sizes, from startups to Schedule 1 banks, to rapidly build and launch engaging technology.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in business, communications, or marketing-related field
  • Basic understanding of business operations and sales cycles
  • Well-versed in basic technology (Microsoft office suite, GSuite, CRM)
  • Demonstrated understanding of out-bound and in-bound sales strategies
  • Some experience with content creation
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Fluent in English

Nice-to-haves:

  • Some basic knowledge of technology
  • Event planning experience
  • Some knowledge of SEO/SEM
  • 1-2 years experience in a professional sales or marketing environment
  • Proficient in creating written copy
  • Fluent in French

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be in charge of implementing strategy to increase in-bound and out-bound lead generation. The business development representative will assist the sales team in growing our client base while helping guide the Finnovate.io brand through our next stage of growth. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership of early stage sales at Finnovate.io, and may be asked to provide insights and strategy to senior leadership as needed. Applicants should be personable and passionate about building strong and long-lasting client relationships.

Regular duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Lead Generation,
  • Prospecting,
  • Event planning,
  • Attend trade shows, industry events and client visits across North America
  • Content creation and management (blog posts, LinkedIn, etc.),
  • Providing market research/intelligence as needed
