Description

As we continue to expand our presence in the UK and international markets, we are looking for a proactive, commercially driven Business Development associate to join our London team and support high-value growth within the architectural and design sectors.
Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Business Development

  • Work closely with the Global Business Development Manager to implement strategies that drive revenue and market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with specifiers, architects, designers, and key stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing pricing strategies and maximising profitability across product lines.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Act as a trusted representative of the LEDFlex brand within the London design and specification community.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.

Sales & Project Support

  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, tracking leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support forecasting and sales reporting to guide strategic decisions.

Personal & Professional Development

  • Stay informed about the latest trends in lighting, architecture, and sustainability.
  • Attend industry events and training to enhance product and market knowledge.

About You

  • Some experience in a business development, commercial, or client-facing sales role or recent graduate looking to progress into the sector.
  • Strong understanding or interest in architecture, design, or lighting specification.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and close high-value opportunities.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
