Description

SGS Towers is a rapidly growing engineering, inspections, and construction firm that has claimed a foothold as an industry leader in telecommunications. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Associate in a hybrid position working primarily remotely while being available to meet at the Omaha, NE office when necessary.
This position is to support the Sr. Director of Business Development in driving growth and sales strategies and requires someone who can stay organized, track new opportunities, analyze sales trends, and collaborate across departments to foster strong customer relationships and identify new revenue streams. If you are a self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills, this is the perfect opportunity to contribute to our team’s success.
Location: Hybrid - Omaha, NE Office
Salary: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour (depending on industry experience and knowledge)
Reports To: Sr. Director of Business Development

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) and Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to analyze data and extract insights to inform business decisions.
  • Previous experience in sales or business development is a plus but not required.
  • 3-5 years of Telecommunications industry knowledge, required.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Sr. Director of Business Development with day-to-day tasks and special projects.
  • Track and monitor new business opportunities and potential leads.
  • Foster and manage customer relationships internally alongside the Sr. Director.
  • Analyze sales trends across departments to identify areas for growth.
  • Report on actual sales data and provide insight into performance metrics.
  • Identify potential new revenue sources and propose innovative strategies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Assist in maintaining and strengthening client relationships.
  • Deepen industry knowledge of current and prospective customers and their needs.
  • Produce key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive internal efficiencies.
  • Build and maintain a client database within CRM tools.
  • Complete any additional tasks or duties as assigned.
