JOB SUMMARY:

True North Labour is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate with a strong background in construction and an in-depth understanding of construction-related occupations. The ideal candidate will leverage their industry expertise to build client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and ensure alignment with client workforce needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven background in the construction industry with a solid understanding of construction roles and processes.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in construction or staffing).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:CLIENT ACQUISITION AND RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

  • Identify and engage potential clients within the construction industry, including contractors, project managers, and developers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct site visits and client meetings to assess workforce needs and propose tailored solutions.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND REPORTING DUTIES

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular updates to the Business Development Manager on progress and pipeline development.
  • Analyze market data and client feedback to refine sales strategies and improve service offerings.
