We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Consultant to join our dynamic and innovative Business Development & Marketing team in Brisbane. About the team and the role This role supports the strategically important Government practice groups within the firm. Both groups have a national footprint, market leading reputation, and a collaborative team culture. You will support the Business Development Manager responsible for the practice groups, as well as having the opportunity to work directly with the partners and legal teams. You will also collaborate with other members of the BD and Marketing team on various team-wide BD initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include: Contributing to tenders, bids, and quotes. Maintaining the accuracy of capability statements and CVs used on the firm website and other systems. Working closely with the marketing and events team to project manage events and sponsorships. Conducting competitor analysis. Completing various administrative and other tasks as required including around client reporting requirements. Coordinating award and legal directory submissions, Supporting the implementation of client account management plans for the key clients of the practice group. About you Prior experience in a similar role, ideally working in the legal, professional services, or government space. Strong writing skills, prior experience working on bids and tenders is highly desirable. Bring a proven track record of delivering high quality service to your client groups and have a genuine desire to provide the best possible service and support. Be a passionate, collaborative professional with a positive outlook and excellent communication skills. Possess strong project management skills.
