Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive industry research to identify potential ecosystem partners that can drive business growth, enhance operational efficiency, and support the successful life cycle management of Bayer portfolio.
  • Develop key presentations and documents for prospective partners and for internal executive meetings.
  • Support the due diligence process and opportunities evaluation by: gathering necessary information and documentation from the prospective partners, identifying risks in collaboration with areas such as legal, finance, logistics, regulatory, and medical, conducting financial analysis and ensuring an objective assessment based on defined selection criteria.
  • Conduct scenario simulation and analysis (all financial KPIs) to support different stages of the selection and negotiation process, to maximize negotiation outcomes for Bayer.
  • Act as project manager, tracking the progress of activities and ensuring the timely fulfilment of all requirements.
  • Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with internal cross-functional teams and external partners. Serve as the primary point of contact for key external stakeholders in partners organizations, ensuring efficient flow of information, consistency in communication and smooth collaboration throughout the partnership lifecycle.
  • Support the governance, monitoring and administration of existing performance agreements across countries and portfolio, ensuring alignment of ways of working, contracts execution as agreed and compliance with corporate and industry policies.
  • Conduct performance analysis of agreements in relation to defined strategic objectives and contract commitments and coordinate joint meetings between parties to review and boost performance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all partnerships. Prepare reports on negotiations/agreements within the region. Ensure that all documentation related to decision-making in the selection process, as well as throughout the lifecycle of each agreement is complete and properly stored for audits and internal reviews.
  • Support in establishing, professionalizing, and harmonizing processes and frameworks around Business Development projects.
