ABOUT US

You will be joining a well-established, highly successful team who are market leaders in their sector. Our team is driven with proven self-starters and work winners and a BD strategy already established across multiple sectors. We are looking for a skilled communicator who is confident speaking to stakeholders at all levels.
Reporting directly to a Business Development Manager of the SC1 team you will be working with a range of different internal stakeholders in a collaborative manner. You will also have access to G&Ts central marketing team who can provide support and guidance as necessary.
The team of people you will be working with are from diverse backgrounds and experiences and as well as being hard working they enjoy business networking, socialising and taking part in G&T social and sporting events.
G&T has a vibrant office environment and attendance in person is expected for the majority of the week.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a self-motivated Business Development Coordinator to take a proactive role in driving a world class approach to BD supporting our Infrastructure and Major Projects team. You will have ideally experience of preparing high quality bids, content and presentation materials for a range of private, public and multi-sector opportunities. Working under the guidance of an experienced Business Development Manager and with support from the central Marketing & BD team the role will involve the co-ordination and preparation of high-quality bids, securing content from stakeholders, maintaining a bid library and ensuring BD materials are kept up to date as well as creating engaging presentation materials for a range of private, public and multi-sector opportunities. The role will involve leading meetings and presenting to senior partners in the firm.
You will have specific responsibility for key areas including but not limited to: establishing key win themes for every bid working with relevant stakeholders, managing a timetable for each bid and securing contributions from relevant stakeholders to deadline, ensuring content is aligned to win themes and is compliant with bidding criteria, using InDesign, Word and PowerPoint as required to create submission material. Working with tender portals to upload to deadline and continuously looking to improve all bid material and documentation, creating project case studies, capability statements, CVs and bid library content.
In addition, the role includes supporting the team in their wider BD activities including maintaining a pipeline tracker to manage opportunities, market research and lead identification, creating targeted approach documents and updating the team on all BD activities to help drive the team forward coherently. The successful candidate will also support the team assisting in organising Business Development events and initiatives.
As with all BD work, this can be a high-pressure role which sometimes, though not always, requires you to work outside of core business hours to meet deadlines. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about BD and have the drive and willingness to embrace this role fully and make it their own.
