Responsibilities

YOUR NEXT ROLE

As Business Development Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in Acclaro’s growth, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across enterprise and mid-market accounts in the US. You’ll be a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them toward impactful, scalable localization solutions that support their global expansion goals.
You’ll collaborate across Sales, Solutions, Operations, and Executive Leadership to land and expand high-value partnerships, bringing Acclaro’s people-first, tech-forward offerings to the world’s most ambitious brands.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead strategic prospecting and outreach to identify enterprise and mid-market opportunities across diverse industries
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships that lead to meaningful, recurring business
  • Own the full sales cycle, from discovery and solutioning to proposal, negotiation, and closing
  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client goals, challenges, and success metrics
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas, while upholding Acclaro’s values and reputation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Solutions, Engineering, Operations, Talent) to co-create winning client strategies
  • Provide accurate forecasts and pipeline visibility through HubSpot CRM and regular leadership reporting
  • Stay current on localization trends, tools, and technologies to position Acclaro as a strategic advisor
  • Optimize your efforts by focusing on high-potential accounts that align with Acclaro’s growth vision
  • Represent Acclaro at industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to drive brand awareness and lead generation

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU

  • Have 5+ years of experience selling localization services and/or technology solutions
  • Hold a bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent professional or military experience.
  • Are a self-starter with a strong “hunter” mentality and a track record of closing $500K+ deals
  • Thrive in consultative selling and long-cycle enterprise negotiations
  • Are fluent in managing complex stakeholder environments (internally and on the client side)
  • Communicate with clarity and purpose, both in writing and in person
  • Are highly organized and detail-driven, especially with CRM usage (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Take pride in your integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence
  • Have experience working in a remote, global, and collaborative environment
