Founded in 2006, Coretelligent is a provider of comprehensive managed IT solutions, specializing in areas like cybersecurity, private cloud services, IT planning and strategy, and backup and disaster recovery. We cater to industries such as financial services, life sciences, technology, and professional services. The company has been recognized for its achievements, including being named to Inc. magazine’s Power Partner Awards and as AT&T Cybersecurity North American Partner of the Year for 2023. Coretelligent focuses on meeting regulatory requirements and ensuring clients’ IT platforms are robust and compliant. We have a significant presence across various U.S. locations and offer co-managed IT solutions as well.

JOB OVERVIEW

As we expand our presence within the Private Equity and Venture Capital ecosystem, we are seeking a strategic, consultative sales leader to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving our Go-To-Market strategy for a rapidly growing segment—introducing our cutting-edge AI-powered IT and cybersecurity offerings to a sophisticated client base. You’ll work cross-functionally with our product, marketing, and executive teams to shape solutions that resonate deeply with PE/VC firms and their portfolios.
This is a high-impact role designed for a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and wants to be at the forefront of transforming how private capital firms think about technology enablement.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in consultative B2B sales with a proven track record of selling IT services, cybersecurity, or digital transformation solutions
  • Deep understanding of the Private Equity and/or Venture Capital landscape, including how firms evaluate value creation opportunities
  • Demonstrated success selling into C-suite decision-makers across finance, operations, and technology
  • Strategic thinking combined with executional rigor and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and thriving in a growth-stage environment
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and influencing skills
  • Experience working at or with MSPs, MSSPs, or consulting firms is a plus.
Salary Range for this position (depending upon experience):
    Base - $150,000 - $200,000 (Uncapped Commission – OTE around 300k)
This range reflects the minimum and maximum targets for new hires across all US locations (with the exception of MA, NY, and CA). Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, work location, and relevant education or training.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow Coretelligent’s footprint across Private Equity and Venture Capital firms and their portfolio companies with an emphasis on AI offerings.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities by positioning our AI-infused managed IT, cybersecurity, and digital transformation solutions as high-value levers for operational efficiency and portfolio-wide enablement
  • Build and nurture relationships with operating partners, CTOs, CIOs, and other executive stakeholders to become a trusted advisor and technology partner
  • Navigate complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, tailoring proposals to the unique needs of PE-backed organizations
  • Lead and deliver compelling solution presentations and product demos, collaborating with internal solution architects, product teams, and SMEs
  • Track market trends and pain points in the private capital ecosystem to inform positioning, messaging, and cross-functional GTM strategies
  • Partner with marketing to co-develop outbound campaigns, collateral, and event strategies focused on driving qualified pipeline within target accounts
  • Maintain meticulous CRM documentation, pipeline forecasting, and activity reporting to drive accountability and visibility with executive leadership
  • Represent Coretelligent at relevant industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand recognition and credibility within the PE/VC space
  • Provide structured feedback to product and delivery teams based on prospect conversations and competitive insights to help shape ongoing innovation efforts
