ABOUT THE JOB

Dalla Corte North America is seeking a passionate and driven Business Development Director to help lead our strategic growth in the U.S. market. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for building new relationships and strengthening existing partnerships to expand our presence nationwide. If you’re passionate about coffee and excited by the opportunity to represent a premium brand, this role offers the chance to sell high-end traditional espresso machines and help shape the future of Dalla Corte in North America. This remote role requires candidates to be located in the United States within reasonable proximity to a major airport to support travel requirements.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5-7 years of proven experience in new and cold outreach business development or account management, ideally related to coffee or coffee equipment.
  • A combination of education and industry experience will also be considered.
  • Flexibility to travel within the US (30-40%) and internationally (>10%).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Quick learner with the ability to understand and effectively communicate technical information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and client outreach.
  • Develop tailored market entry strategies aligned with company offerings and values.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors, serving as their main point of contact.
  • Understand customer needs and propose solutions that support long-term partnerships.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including pipeline development, contract negotiations, and post-sale follow-up.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, issue resolution, and service delivery.
  • Support cross-border account management and oversee project execution for global clients.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies relevant to the coffee sector.
  • Provide timely updates and reports on sales performance, customer activity, and market insights.
  • Share client and market feedback with internal teams to support strategy and marketing efforts.
