Business Development Director | San Jose, CA Position Description: As the Business Development Director, you are responsible for driving strategic marketing with key customers of TDK Magnetic Sensor Business Unit for our TMR sensor products. Your work will focus on driving TMR market creation with TDK’s “Market-in and Concept-Out” approach and working closely with TDK Magnetic Sensor Business Unit engineers. You will be part of the consumer TMR sensor Marketing team and work closely together with the corporate marketing and sales teams to expand our TMR sensor business. Responsibilities: · Marketing strategy – Proactively develop and execute TMR sensor product marketing strategies. Must be well communicated and aligned with TDK Magnetic Sensor Business Unit TMR sensor team. · Voice of Customers – Directly interface with key customers to understand and manage their expectations and requirements. Identify and communicate TDK Magnetic Sensor Business Unit expert resources required to deliver customer requirements and meet expectations. · Create new TMR sensor market – Identify new market opportunities and create TMR sensor market by building eco-system and promoting partnership to drive business expansion. · Product roadmaps – Establish TMR sensor road maps for each market segment with “Market-in and Concept-out” approach · Communication and Reporting – Provide regular updates to management including TDK Magnetic Sensor Business Unit. Effective communication and coordination to TDK Magnetic Sensor Business Unit engineering team for necessary support. Requirements and Skills: · Expertise with Magnetic sensors (including TMR technology) is required · Proven track record of product marketing and business development · Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams · Proactive individual interested in the sensor business and new market development · Ability to analyze market trends and to make strategic proposals · Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate to the target audience · Relevant work experience with BSEE; higher degrees are a plus. The starting annual base pay for this role ranges between USD $180,000.00 and $215,000.00. The actual base pay is dependent on various factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market conditions. This range is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future.
