Already, 120+ Vicos with thousands of freelancers work on projects for enterprise clients like BASF, Miele, Siemens or Daimler and many SME. Our SAP-certified platform is key to our success, providing the full digital infrastructure for forming and operating Vicos: marketing, finance, legal, organization. An important focus of our growth lies in SAP services. Many of our Vicos focus on areas ranging from SAP S/4HANA transformations to highly specific SAP application modules. We are therefore looking for an ambitious, commercially driven leader with SAP ecosystem knowledge who wants to combine sales excellence with entrepreneurial impact. Our offer to you As Business Development Director you are a key member of our Sales & Delivery Assurance (SDA) team. You take on two equally important responsibilities: winning and growing client business, and ensuring that our Vico Leads (the entrepreneurs running our Vicos) deliver excellence. This is not a pure sales role. You combine end-to-end client acquisition with hands-on leadership of Vico Leads – supervising, coaching, and where necessary stepping in to secure delivery quality. You work closely with our Supply & BD Operations (SBDO) team, which sources and onboards Vico Leads and Vico Members. Your responsibility starts where sourcing ends: you activate, lead and hold Vico Leads accountable. Tasks Sales Build pipeline and win new enterprise clients in the SAP transformation space – from first contact through deal closure. Lead client presentations together with Vico Leads, who bring domain expertise and team credibility to the table. Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers (CIOs, Heads of SAP, Procurement). Own revenue and pipeline targets for your client portfolio. Delivery Assurance Monitor client satisfaction and act on issues before they escalate. Own all commercial client interaction. Convert upselling opportunities into new business. Supervise, coach, and provide hands-on support to the Vico Leads, who run the virtual companies, ensuring delivery quality and commercial discipline. Ensure Vicos make best use of the Vicoland platform and comply with our standards. Collaboration with Supply & BD Operations Brief sourcing needs for new Vicos, Vico Leads and Vico Members to the supply side team. Evaluate Vico Leads regularly. Provide structured performance feedback as input for supply side team's sourcing and development decisions. Requirements Sales track record: proven success in SAP Services sales or SAP consulting. Leadership experience: demonstrated ability to lead, coach and hold accountable senior professionals or project teams. SAP ecosystem knowledge: solid understanding of SAP landscapes, transformation projects and the competitive environment. Entrepreneurial mindset: you thrive in a fast-growing, ambiguous environment and take ownership beyond your job description. High-potential profile: strong academic record, fast career progression, proven commercial impact. Network power: talent and client connections are a plus. Excellent communication skills: you interact confidently with C-level clients, seasoned SAP professionals and internal teams alike.
