OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Director to lead our growth in the Solar PV and Battery Storage sectors. This strategic role will focus on identifying new market opportunities, developing partnerships, and securing high-value contracts for solar and energy storage solutions across commercial, industrial, and public sector clients.
The successful candidate will bring deep sector knowledge, a strong network, and a proven track record of delivering complex renewable energy projects from concept to close.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

  • Deep understanding of Solar PV systems, battery storage technologies, and grid integration.
  • Familiarity with UK energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and subsidy schemes (e.g., CfDs, SEG, DSR, flexibility markets).

SKILLS

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience with project finance and investment models.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive business outcomes.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in business development or sales leadership roles within the renewable energy sector.
  • Proven track record of securing and delivering multi-million-pound solar and/or battery storage projects.
