Description The Business Development Director will lead aggressive business development efforts with a strong focus on identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities. This role requires a self-driven individual with a deep technical background and an ownership mindset-someone who takes initiative, drives results, and is accountable for revenue growth through strategic customer engagement and solution-oriented selling. Essential Functions · Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team to drive innovation and company growth. · Develop and implement business development strategies that align technical capabilities with business development goals to generate new revenue. · Identify and pursue new business opportunities through consultative selling and technical solutions. · Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and partners. · Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote capabilities and convert qualified leads. · Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform product development and go-to-market strategies. · Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and development for all team members.
