EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Engineering, with advantage of any additional qualifications in Business.
  • Typically, 8 years’+ experience in a high-volume, high-speed manufacturing industry, preferably food, beverages or pharmaceutical in either an engineering, production, technical or quality role
  • Experience in the identification and delivery of process improvement preferred

Responsibilities
  • Project management and execution of change projects to cost/time/scope
  • Oversee the capital engineering agenda, including providing technical support, Vendor and equipment selection fit for purpose, and capital management
  • Lead change agenda for growth and NPD projects executed at Internal & External manufacturing Sites
  • Development of costings (COGS) for NPDs to support decision making for commercial decisions.
  • Support External Manufacturer Development to ensure Compliance with MDLZ Quality Standards
  • Lead and execute selected projects driving Productivity and Gross Profit margin within Supply Chain / Operations
  • Ensure that project scope takes into consideration minimizing waste (product giveaway, raw and pack waste, and write-offs)
  • Review internal manufacturing complexity and external manufacturing options to support considerations on manufacturing complexity (utilising existing asset platforms, product formats, and managing SKU proliferation)
  • Responsible for operations input into the I2M project management process for External manufacturing.Interface between site and the commercial business.
  • Completion of master data (BOMs and Routings) for new products for External Manufacturing operations and NPDs
  • Drive consistency in documentation and business processes to ensure high level of inputs and assist good decision making.
  • Ensure that suitable risk assessment and contingency planning is in-place, communicated, and agreed upon by all stakeholders
  • Enable best practice sharing by ensuring all projects are properly closed out and key learning’s are documented following the IIM Design Review (DR) process.
