We are seeking an accomplished and ambitious Business Development person to join our team to help drive new client acquisition and our broader go-to-market strategy.
You will work closely across stakeholders to expand our client development and sales function in our growing Ohio and other US markets, with a focus on lead generation, appointment setting, and presenting to new client opportunities the AtNetPlus solutions, services and pricing to meet their needs.
This position will report to the Chief Revenue Officer, with engagement across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed deployed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals with no commission cap
- Develop a deep understanding of AtNetPlus’ service offerings, strengths and differentiators and leverage this knowledge to create opportunities in our target market
- Develop a partner network for referrals such as Chambers, Associations, Vendors
Measurements of Accountability (Expectations)
- BD’s have a significant impact across the organization.
- For Prospective Clients – Solving their business issues and setting the correct expectations and providing the correct recommendations
- For PMs (Project Managers) – Assuring scoped projects are accurate before presenting to prospective clients in order to establish accurate timelines and expectations enabling a smooth implementation
- For Delivery – Set realistic expectations with the client around current SLA’s and completion of the new client onboarding presentation with new client staff ensuring their understanding of who we are, what we do, and how they engage us / create support tickets, etc
- For Finance – Detailed and accurate contracts help ensure invoicing is accurate and timely.

Skills and Qualifications

- Education
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred
- Technical Skills
- 5+ years experience in Microsoft/Office 365 preferred
- General knowledge of servers (on prem and cloud), networking and cybersecurity is preferred
- Licenses & Registrations
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable, insured vehicle
- Other Skills & Abilities
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building, listening, and questioning skills;
- Requires account management experience, strong Microsoft Office skills and strong group presentation skills;
- The candidate has or will build a network of Executive contacts and/or partnerships in the Nonprofit, healthcare, manufacturing, municipality sectors
- Experience
- Experience working in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment highly preferred
- Or other industry Sales Advisory; Consulting experience required
Metrics
- Contribute to overall growth of Cybersecurity, Managed IT services and other AtNetPlus offerings
- Work to conduct 5 prospect calls or meetings per week
- Create and maintain pipeline KPI’s
- Maintain an average closing rate of 8k in MRR (monthly recurring revenue) agreements
Work Conditions
- Remote work.
- Some travel may be required to AtNetPlus office.
- Travel will be required for onsite new client introduction meetings, network assessments, proposal presentations
