Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to join our growing team and help expand our presence across key verticals including festivals, events, hospitality and sports venues.
This role is perfect for someone looking to kickstart or continue their career in sales, with a focus on outbound outreach, relationship building and sales support.
You will be the first touchpoint for many prospective clients, working closely with the senior sales team, opening doors and supporting them in taking opportunities through the pipeline.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Outbound prospecting: contacting cold and warm leads to create opportunities for the senior sales team.
  • Supporting the sales team in drafting proposals, documents and presentations.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with early-stage prospects.
  • Representing Boxbar at events, trade shows and client meetings.
  • Negotiate deals and close contract sales on a timely basis.
  • Working within our CRM system to track interactions and follow-ups.
  • Liaise with internal teams, including operations, marketing, tech & finance.
  • Support with supplier relationships, invoicing and sales reporting to Directors.
  • Staying informed on industry trends, competitors and relevant markets.
  • On-site operational support from time-to-time, including direct liaison with clients and suppliers.
