TECHNICAL AND SALES QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in selling Agentic AI solutions is essential, with the ability to drive build-and-buy sales plays for intelligent agents across multiple solutions.
  • Strong track record of partnering with enterprise Account Executives to identify, shape, and close opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success in building pipeline and driving net-new business within Data & AI solution areas.
  • Deep understanding of how Data & AI can solve real-world business challenges across various industries.
  • Able to translate complex technical topics such as data lakehouse architectures, LLM deployments, or machine learning pipelines into commercially relevant conversations.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-party sales engagements across both IT and line-of-business (LOB) stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with hyperscaler-native and third-party platforms including Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
  • Understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including model development, deployment, governance, and ethical considerations.
  • Strong understanding of cloud economics and how to structure service offerings around platform spend and customer ROI.
  • Experience selling advisory, professional, and managed services, including data strategy, platform modernisation, data governance, and AI roadmap execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to C-suite and technical stakeholders alike.
  • Experience with opportunity management, CRM discipline, and pipeline development practices.

Responsibilities

POSITION PURPOSE

This role is instrumental in helping SoftwareOne build, develop, and grow its Data & AI practice across ANZ. The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to our Account Executives (AEs), enabling them to identify, shape, and progress Data & AI opportunities within key accounts, while also driving new business growth. With a strong focus on Agentic AI solutions, this role will lead the adoption of build-and-buy sales plays for intelligent agents across multiple solutions, positioning SoftwareOne at the forefront of the Data & AI market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Account Executives to uncover and qualify Data & AI opportunities across SoftwareOne’s top accounts.
  • Drive net-new customer engagement by prospecting and shaping Data & AI discussions that lead to measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead with Agentic AI solutions as a cornerstone of customer conversations, applying build-and-buy sales plays across multiple solution areas.
  • Educate, enable, and influence AEs to confidently position SoftwareOne’s Data & AI offerings in customer discussions.
  • Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor, demonstrating how Data & AI can unlock value, accelerate transformation, and support long-term customer strategy.
  • Contribute to the growth of the ANZ Data & AI practice by building pipeline, supporting account planning, and driving execution against regional targets.
  • Leverage hyperscaler-funded programs, co-sell opportunities, and ecosystem partnerships to accelerate adoption and deal velocity.
  • Deliver clear and compelling proposals, commercial models, and service outlines tailored to customer use cases and expected outcomes.
  • Provide internal feedback to improve portfolio relevance, delivery execution, and partner alignment.
