Description About the Role We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Executive to drive direct sales to end users in industries such as food & beverage, manufacturing, logistics, and retail. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of moving, shipping and safety supplies, specially stretch film, tapes, safety/PPE and gloves, poly bags and shrink films, strong consultative selling skills, and the ability to develop long-term customer relationships. This individual would also work on selling into retail/in-store on shelf- in chain stores like Wal Mart, Target, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Dollar Store etc. Preference would be to be located in Solon, Ohio. Key Responsibilities Direct Sales & Market Development Identify and target end-user accounts in key sectors (e.g., food processing, consumer goods, industrial manufacturing). Develop tailored proposals and solutions to meet customer-specific packaging needs. Drive new business acquisition. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers at end-user companies. Provide technical support and product demonstrations to showcase value-added solutions. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive service and problem resolution. Strategic Growth Analyze customer requirements and market trends to identify opportunities for new products or services. Collaborate with internal teams (production, R&D, logistics) to deliver customized solutions. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings. Reporting & Performance Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools. Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Requirements Experience: 3–5 years in sales or business development within the packaging industry, with a focus on moving, shipping and safety supplies, specially stretch film, tapes, safety/PPE and gloves, poly bags and shrink films Proven success in selling directly to end users. Knowledge of Procurement platforms like Coupa, ZIPHQ, SAP Ariba, Oracle etc. and must have worked on bids / reverse auctions at end users. Skills: Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders. We are pleased to offer our employees a comprehensive benefits package.
