  • Experience of new business sales, delivering business growth within the Energy & Utilities sector and have a good grasp of competition in the market
  • Experience of selling cloud infrastructure technology products and services
  • Be a proven team player in a matrix organization, building trust with a range of stakeholders and instilling confidence
  • Be able to describe the end result (solution) required to satisfy a client problem
  • Have commercial acumen – pricing, contracting, negotiating

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL DRIVE CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES SALES INTO CLIENT ACCOUNT(S) WITHIN THE UK ENERGY & UTILITIES SECTOR. YOU WILL ENGAGE SENIOR DECISION MAKERS, NAVIGATE COMPLEX BUYING CYCLES, AND BRING TOGETHER THE BEST OF OUR TECHNOLOGY, DELIVERY, AND INDUSTRY EXPERTISE TO SECURE STRATEGIC WINS AND LONG-TERM CLIENT PARTNERSHIPS. YOU WILL OWN A PERSONAL SALES TARGET LINKED TO YOUR CORE OBJECTIVE TO GROW THE PIPELINE AND CLOSE BOOKINGS WITHIN YOUR ASSIGNED ACCOUNT(S). YOU WILL DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT ACCOUNT GROWTH STRATEGIES AS WELL AS CONTRIBUTE TO THE OVERALL SECTOR STRATEGY, IN LINE WITH GROUP INITIATIVES.

Hybrid working : The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LEADING PIPELINE GROWTH AND ACQUISITION OF NEW BUSINESS FROM TARGETED CLIENT ACCOUNT(S) WITHIN CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES. YOUR FOCUS WILL BE TO OWN AND DRIVE TOP LINE GROWTH:

  • Build, manage and implement account growth strategies and plans.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities to support your top line sales target.
  • Lead and own the full sales cycle for your opportunity pursuits – from initial client engagement and proposal development to contract negotiation and close.
  • Drive growth by identifying customer needs and working with colleagues to construct solutions that include the full breadth of both our infrastructure portfolio and wider Capgemini capabilities.
  • Operate effectively within a dynamic, matrix environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, industry leads, wider sales and account teams, in driving sales strategies and deal pursuits.
  • Build close relationships with the senior executives in your target account(s) and develop your personal value proposition with these individuals.
