QUALIFICATION/SKILLS

The candidate must have the following:

  • Be ambitious and looking to further develop a high value sales career in the IT industry.
  • Minimum of three year’s proven work experience as a Business Development or Sales Executive in the IT industry – preferably in the managed services, Cloud, or security sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Must be a team player, able to co-ordinate and work closely with the rest of the sales and technical teams.
  • Good general understanding of technology industry – products and solutions.

Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time role for a Senior Business Development Executive. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and fostering strong relationships. This hybrid role is based in Dublin but allows for some work from home flexibility.
The Senior Business Development Executive will work in our commercial team to develop new opportunities for our managed IT services, managed security, and software development services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • New business in new accounts – engage with the new opportunities generated by marketing through the full sales cycle to win new clients.
  • Strategic new business in existing accounts – you will be managing strategic sales in a select list of our existing accounts.
  • Generating new business in new accounts – working with opportunities generated by marketing.
  • Managing a leads pipeline of new and existing opportunities throughout the sales nurturing cycle.
  • Helping to drive new business opportunities from events and conferences in conjunction with Marketing.
