REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills (must be fluent in English).
  • Confident, persuasive, and outgoing personality – comfortable with face-to-face sales.
  • Local knowledge of Edinburgh’s small business landscape is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Previous experience in sales (B2B or payment solutions preferred but not mandatory).
  • Must have own transport (car preferred) for meeting clients across the city.
  • Young and energetic (preferably between 21-35 years old).
Responsibilities

JOB ROLE:

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and confident young male (preferably local Scottish/English) to join our team as a Business Development Executive. Your primary responsibility will be to meet with business owners and decision-makers face-to-face, understand their needs, and convince them to adopt our payment solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prospect and approach small businesses (retailers, restaurants, cafes, salons, etc.) in Edinburgh.
  • Conduct in-person meetings with business owners/managers to present our card machines and EPOS systems.
  • Explain benefits, pricing, and features of our products to potential clients.
  • Close deals and achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients for repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Provide feedback to the management team to improve sales strategies.
