Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in export markets to drive growth and profitability.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential partners and clients to foster collaboration and strategic alliances.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement effective growth strategies.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to pinpoint areas for expansion and competitive advantage.
  • Support cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and synergy across business initiatives and objectives.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and forecasts to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business development initiatives, making strategic adjustments as necessary.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact export markets and business operations.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and online research.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients to assess their needs and present suitable products or services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as established by the sales manager or company objectives.
  • Manage key accounts and high-value transactions to ensure exceptional service and support.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Any Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in the same field.
  • Experience in handling export sales – food division.
  • Solid communication in English and negotiation skills.
    (International sales experience in Africa, USA and Europe preferred)
