POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to our CEO and supporting the growth of our business, we’re looking for a motivated and self-driven Business Development Executive to work alongside our Business Development Team. • Qualify inbound leads, following up over the phone before assigning them to the relevant Business Development Executive for closing.
  • Ensure all leads are contacted promptly, are moving through the pipeline and receive the appropriate level of attention.
  • Manage the closing of small and medium accounts within assigned market.
  • Manage inbound workflows in the CRM system to ensure leads are followed up efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to maximise campaigns and messaging to increase quality inbound leads.
  • Report weekly on inbound leads KPIs to management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • B2B Expertise: Experience within a similar industry or audience is a plus.
  • Commercial Acumen and Strategic Sales Thinking: Deep understanding of sales principles and best practices, with an acute ability to develop and execute strategies to win new business and grow accounts.
  • Comfortable to ask for help where needed
  • Resilience and Drive: Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting, qualifying and on to closing, maintaining a positive, self-driven approach even during slower periods.
  • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in CRM and support software, with experience using HubSpot, Asana, and MS Office Suite for presentations, reporting, and database management.
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a well-established network and a talent for fostering productive relationships across industries.
  • Initiative and Self-Motivation: Strong capability to work independently, yet fit in with a team culture of success, demonstrating a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey the Guaranteed Irish value proposition effectively to diverse audiences.
