Job Description: Business Development Executive
We’re seeking a highly motivated and skilled business development executive to join our ‘online education team’ at Glenala Education Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for lead generation, driving revenue, and bringing new opportunities for our business growth within our online education provision.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in sales or business development roles.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Adept in networking, project management and problem-solving.
  • Possess strong creative and strategic thinking skills to develop effective sales strategies through delegation, prioritisation, and execution for business growth.
  • Ability to adapt to the company’s culture effectively and lead other teams.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related fields.
  • A demonstratable understanding of the online education market
  • Experience working in the D2C industry with a deep understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and good leadership skills to manage, motivate and lead the team to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Have a valid passport and willingness to travel for client meetings and conferences.

Responsibilities

OBJECTIVE OF THIS ROLE

  • Identify and evaluate potential sales leads in online education through networking and online research.
  • Communicate effectively to foster relationships with new and existing partners.
  • Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build a deep understanding of our products and present them effectively to clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond promptly to any issues that directly affect sales.
  • Work with the Company Principal to hire, onboard and train new team members in the sales team.
  • Directly oversee the growth of assigned markets and clients.
  • Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Track and analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets with demonstrable key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Present monthly and quarterly sales reports to senior board members and investors.
  • Preparing and delivering pitches to potential investors
  • Researching businesses, individuals, and industry trends to identify potential new clients and markets and ways to serve existing clients better.
  • Contacting potential new clients using phone and email to gauge interest and plan meetings
  • Preparing client presentations and materials, including PowerPoint and sales displays
  • Meeting new and existing clients in person
  • Negotiating business terms with new and existing clients using phone, email and in-person meetings
  • Setting sales goals and ensuring sales team meets them.
  • Working with senior team members to manage risks.
  • Training and mentoring sales team members
  • Any other reasonable duties that may be required
