To support you in the role, your leads will be generated by our digital marketing team and you will also link up with our field sales team to develop sales opportunities. Our track record in the industry, coupled with our innovative products are key to our sales strategy and you will play a pivotal role in identifying customer’s needs and providing the appropriate solution. In short, you will act as a trusted partner and take care of things.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

Our Business Development Executives are absolutely vital to our success. As a rapidly growing business both in size and turnover, we’re looking for new people to join our sales team and help us grow even further, acting as a Trusted Partner to JLA’s customers. You’ll be joining a highly successful sales team where you will be valued and rewarded for the contribution you make.

KEY TASKS

  • Making outbound sales calls using leads generated through our digital marketing team
  • Making outbound strategy dials for business development across multiple markets, verticals and sectors – this is not exhaustive to call generation and personal company prep and insights will form part of your role.
  • Developing sales opportunities in partnership with your field sales colleagues and reporting on personal pipeline to your team whenever applicable.
  • Meeting/exceeding dynamic KPI’s set within the Key Nat team.
  • Identifying new logo business within your targeted sector to grow the targeted revenue lines which will form both contracted and spot sale propositions
  • Close consistent collaboration with sector BDD
    Knowledge and Skills (what you know and what you can do)

Essential -

  • Confident and effective communicator
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft office applications
  • Knowledge of Key National group decision making processes
  • Ability to cross sell within multiple verticals/ propositions
  • Desirable -
  • Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning

Experience (what you have done)

Essential -

  • Experience of outbound lead generation/telesales
  • Experience of working in a customer-centric position either face to face or over the phone
  • Experience working as part of a team toward an aligned set of goals/objectives
  • Experience working on mid to long term pipeline opportunities with demonstrated successes

Desirable -

  • Have worked in a commercially driven environment
