We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our Microlise family! Reporting into our Head of Compliance Sales, you will be based primarily at our Coventry office, however the role will include field sales and occasional overnight stays. Ideally you will have either information technology and software sales experience or commercial transportation industry related knowledge; a general sales background would also be considered.

Responsibilities
Generate own leads and appointments
Maintain and grow existing accounts and develop new business
Plan and carry out direct selling activities to agreed targets and timescales
Develop and maintain a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database and diaries
Liaise and attend meetings and events, with sales and marketing team
Work with sales support team on agreed targets
Attend networking events and use initiative to open opportunities
Work with marketing on campaigns and diligently follow up all leads
Please note that the successful candidates job title will be Sales Manager, in line with our organisational structure.
