Business Development Executive About the role: Miele Professional continues to grow, and this role plays an important part in supporting the success of our GB & IE Professional business. We deliver reliable and sustainable solutions for commercial customers across the Care, Hospitality, and Self-Service sectors. As a Business Development Executive, you will work closely with the wider Professional sales team to support and develop our portfolio of accounts. You will manage a selection of smaller accounts from initial opportunity through to ongoing growth, while also supporting larger accounts in partnership with Account Managers. In this role, you will help deliver our commercial strategy, contribute to annual sales targets, and represent the Miele brand with confidence and professionalism. Your Responsibilities: In close collaboration with the wider Professional sales team, you manage and develop a portfolio of smaller customer accounts to support business growth In line with company policy, procedures, and quality standards, you deliver your personal sales targets and maintain a high standard of customer care In support of our commercial strategy, you apply agreed marketing and sales policies, including terms and discount structures, with consistency and care In partnership with Account Managers, you contribute to the preparation of business plans for key accounts and support the development of customer growth opportunities In close collaboration with internal departments, you help create strong customer outcomes, identify new account opportunities, and maximise value within existing accounts What we are looking for: You must have experience in a commercial business-to-business environment, with strong foundational selling skills and the ability to build rapport effectively You must have a full UK driving licence and degree-level education, or equivalent experience You bring a strong customer focus and can manage smaller accounts independently while identifying and developing sales opportunities You take a structured and analytical approach to your work and solve problems in a practical and effective way You work well with others, build positive relationships across teams and with customers, and stay open to change and continuous improvement What we offer A salary of up to £48,000 plus a competitive benefits package A bonus scheme of up to 2 months’ Extensive discounts on Miele products for yourself, family, and friends Discounted gym membership and a subsidised onsite café An extensive health cash plan, free eye tests, financial advice, recognition schemes, and more Additional Information: This is a full-time, permanent position based in Abingdon with hybrid working options available.
