Are you a marketing professional with a passion for brand building, client engagement, and driving business development initiatives? We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join our team in Hong Kong. As part of our global Business Development and Marketing function, you'll work alongside partners and key stakeholders to enhance our presence in the region, delivering high-quality marketing, communications, and event support. In this role, your work will be varied and dynamic, covering everything from digital marketing and content creation to client relationship management and event coordination. You'll play a key role in ensuring our brand messaging is consistent and impactful, while supporting business growth and strategic initiatives. About the role In this role, you will: Manage digital presence and ensure accuracy and consistency of the Hong Kong office’s profile on the website, intranet, and social media, including content creation for Mourant’s Chinese-language platforms. Develop marketing materials, keep brochures, contact cards, and team sheets up to date and aligned with brand guidelines. Coordinate communications including draft press releases, social media posts, and other external messaging, collaborating with the central comms team. Plan and execute Mourant-led events and sponsorships, handling logistics, invitations, supplier coordination, and post-event follow-up. Identify relevant industry events, facilitate attendance and sponsorships, and support advertising efforts. Drive client relationship management (CRM) – Maintain the CRM database, track key client interactions, and support relationship-building initiatives. Assist with pitches, maintain capability statements, and support marketing trips by coordinating meetings and follow-ups. Lead directory and awards submissions, working with the PR and BD teams to strengthen the firm's market positioning. Track marketing spend, conduct data analysis, and provide insights for strategic decision-making. Participate in firmwide BD and marketing initiatives, ensuring consistency in approach and providing cover for the BD Manager when needed. About you - essential requirements Demonstrable knowledge of communications and marketing concepts Able to demonstrate a career with a focus on events, communications and/marketing elements. Project management skills: ability to manage and prioritise tasks, time, budgets, and people to meet deadlines. Strong commercial acumen: awareness and appreciation of the importance of return on Marketing investment Proficient in the main digital/social and Microsoft applications Strong interpersonal skills The ability to maintain focused on objectives, developing excellent working relationships with the partners, fee earners and support staff. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail and accuracy Degree qualified (ideally covering business or marketing related subjects) or hold the Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma in Marketing / CIPR or equivalent. Preferably > 3 years' comms, events and/or marketing experience in professional or financial services. Ideally with significant time spent in managing events.
