JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our frozen product line by liaising with supermarket buyers, identifying new opportunities, and leading the merchandising team. You will ensure the smooth execution of strategies that expand our market presence, secure partnerships, and drive sales performance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or key account management, preferably in the FMCG or frozen food industry.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and maintain buyer relationships.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business tools; experience with inventory or merchandising software is a plus.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for supermarket and retail buyers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing buyers to ensure consistent collaboration and product visibility.
  • Negotiate product listings, promotional plans, and strategic shelf placements.
  • Identify and research new market opportunities to grow the frozen product range.
  • Propose and secure partnerships with additional supermarket chains, convenience stores, and alternative retail channels.
  • Analyze industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the frozen food market.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the merchandising team to ensure shelves are well-stocked and products are displayed effectively.
  • Monitor and review merchandising team performance to address gaps and implement improvements.
  • Coordinate merchandising schedules and resolve any in-store issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales, pricing, and promotional strategies tailored to retail partners.
  • Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of products to retail outlets.
  • Plan and execute product launches and in-store marketing campaigns.Prepare regular sales performance reports and provide insights for future growth strategies.
