Job Description

We are in the hunt for a Part-time (3 days a week) Business Development Executive due to an internal movement.

• Implement proactive sales plans targeting the MICE business group and corporate segment
• Identify and convert sales leads into new business opportunities
• Maintain effective communication with the Director of Sales
• Prompt organisation and delivery of site inspections
• Preparation of proposals and contracts in an accurate manner
• Retain existing customer base by building and developing relationships
• Participate and represent hotel at key industry / trade events

Qualifications

• 1-2 years demonstrated sales experience in hotels
• Experience working with Cvent and Delphi.
• Strong focus and passion for hotel operations
• Able to be tactful and diplomatic at all times
• Confident and articulate communication, negotiation and networking skills
• The right to work in Australia - no sponsorship is available for this position
