REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or Degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in business development and product marketing, preferably in the wealth management industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as language proficiency in Mandarin and English are also important for this role as this candidate will be required to converse with partners and network with Chinese speaking clients. Malay is a plus.
  • Certifications in CMFAS modules M5, M9, M9A, HI
Responsibilities

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions to promote the services offered by the department. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the private wealth management sector.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in business development, preferably within the private wealth management sector. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships. A deep understanding of financial products and services, as well as knowledge of the regulatory requirements in the wealth management industry, is also essential.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Identify and develop new business pipelines within the High-Net-Worth (HNW) sector, expanding our reach and impact.
  • Assist in preparing customized financial plans and presentations for potential clients.
  • Act as the primary relationship manager, ensuring outstanding service for both new and existing clients.
  • Oversee sales-related administrative tasks to support seamless operations.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing professional and timely assistance.
  • Build and nurture strong connections to drive long-term client retention and satisfaction.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to uncover fresh business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement innovative business development plans to expand the department’s clientele.
  • Continuously review and refine internal processes to drive operational improvements.
  • Work closely with internal teams to create and execute strategies that boost sales and client engagement.
