Description

Modern Plant is looking to recruit an experienced and commercially astute professional equal to the challenge of spearheading the further development of our process control and automation lines of business. This role encompasses a range of business development activities including CPD delivery to specification professionals, pipeline management, field sales calls and key account management.
Prospective candidates should hold a qualification in an engineering or technical discipline or equivalent demonstrably relevant experience.
This role may also be of interest to prospective candidates with a relevant site engineering, supply chain or technical specification background. Appetite, attitude and application are the key prerequisites for success in this role.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • 3rd level or vocational qualification and experience in a mechanical, electrical or electronics engineering discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years of Sales especially in Industrial Automation, process control, Pneumatics, Electrical controls and automation.
  • Business Development experience
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
