JOB SUMMARY

The Business Development Executive – Road Freight will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new and existing business opportunities in domestic and cross-border road transportation services. The role requires strong market knowledge, client relationship management, and the ability to achieve sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3years of experience in road freight sales / logistics business development.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong knowledge of domestic and cross-border road freight operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to generate leads and convert them into business.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driving license preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for domestic and international road freight services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, transport companies, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present competitive quotations and proposals to potential customers.
  • Negotiate rates, service terms, and contracts in line with company policies.
  • Work closely with operations to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Maintain a sales pipeline and achieve assigned revenue and volume targets.
  • Visit potential and existing clients to promote services and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety requirements.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and business plans.
