JOB SUMMARY

A confident ambassador for Rudding Park and capable of delivering new initiatives to ensure long term growth and sustainability by generating and developing new business opportunities to increase market share.

GENERAL

  • Be responsible for Health and Safety as an individual and also to colleagues, guests and the business, reporting concerns through the Health and Safety processes and procedures.
  • Ensure continuous professional development of self, including attending required training courses and seeking means of developing within the business.
  • Promote continuous improvement in the level of quality and guest care provided by the business and make proposals/suggestions where applicable.
  • Respect colleagues and the working environment at all times.
  • Ensure high standard of dress and self-presentation within the working environment.
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate within the position for which you are qualified.

Responsibilities


    • Identify, seek, act upon and manage new opportunities and leads for new MICE and group business, pipeline efficiency and conversion improvement and contacts for all market segments, prioritising MICE

    • Manage the Rudding Reward Scheme - seek new and develop existing accounts and co-ordinate monthly accounts, co-ordinate events and contact and account engagement
    • To capture a greater market share and increase revenue in conjunction with all resources
    • Manage and co-ordinate all Local Corporate Rates and conduct annual reviews with all companies
    • Develop existing relationships with conference, events, golf and accommodation bookers.
    • Be familiar with local and regional business developments. Review local press and publications and investigate new business leads.
    • To agree annual personal business objectives then set and review monthly objectives in line with forecasted business needs
    • To attend local networking events as a business representative for Rudding Park
    • To ensure all sales activity undertaken is in line with agreed expense budget
    • Contribute to the wider thinking and planning of the Commercial Team
