ABOUT THE TEAM

This is a unique opportunity to be a founding member of a new, specialised sub-division within our Enterprise Transformation department. You will join a small, growing team where collaboration is key. Our success is measured collectively, working together to achieve shared KPIs as a programme partner to government agencies.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for passionate and results-oriented individuals to join us as Business Development Executives and Senior Business Development Executives . This role is central to our mission and is focused on growth, with an expected activity split of 70% new business development and 30% existing account management .
You will be responsible for driving the adoption of SGPC’s services among SMEs in the Food, Retail, and Hospitality sectors. The specific title and responsibilities will be tailored to the candidate’s experience and expertise. Your success will be measured by the number of new SMEs you onboard onto our appointed programmes and your ability to manage those relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (FOR BOTH ROLES)

  • Manage and develop new and/or existing customer accounts to discover business needs and propose appropriate service offerings.
  • Strategise and execute outreach to potential clients and new prospects via calls, visits, presentations, and promotional campaigns.
  • Research and build a strong prospect list, planning and executing an individual sales strategy to meet assigned targets.
  • Contribute to service and product growth by providing feedback from clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist in sales and marketing projects as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR A SENIOR EXECUTIVE

  • Manage a portfolio of larger or more strategic SME accounts.
  • Take a leading role in developing and executing sales campaigns for specific industry verticals.
  • Provide guidance and act as a mentor for junior executives in the team.Contribute more directly to the overall business development strategy and forecasting.
