DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Security Industry Knowledge: Understanding of Manned Guarding, Mobile Patrols, Key Holding, CCTV Monitoring, and Event Security.
  • Experience in High-Value Contract Negotiations: Ability to manage complex deals and long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Public & Private Sector Contracts: Experience in selling security solutions to large organisations, councils, or NHS trusts is advantageous.
  • Proven Track Record in Sales Performance: Demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding sales targets. A minimum of 18 months experience is required.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales and lead generation within the Security Industry.
  • A strong network within the security sector, with a track record of winning new business.
  • Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly proactive and self-motivated, with a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work cross-functionally, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

JOB ROLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE – SGC SECURITY SERVICES

Location: Onsite in Essex
Reporting to: Sales Manager
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per year + Commission

ABOUT THE ROLE:

SGC Security Services is seeking a highly driven, results-oriented Security Business Development Executive to join our dynamic Sales Team. This role is pivotal in identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities across our Security services portfolio. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, expanding our client base, and forging long-term partnerships in the security sector.
Working closely with the Business Development Manager and Bid Writer, Operations Team, and Marketing Department, you’ll develop strategic sales initiatives, leverage industry insights, and execute targeted lead generation campaigns.
