As we continue to expand, we currently have a vacancy for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team. Construction Industry experience/knowledge is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current clients in order to aid customers in their success using our service. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the clients/candidates may face. The business development executive will be contributing to the growth of the business by contacting clients across Ireland.
As a business development executive, you will be contacting clients, learning their business and growing your pipeline of new business while building deep client relationships to increase Sherlock’s client base and revenue.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous business development/account management/sales environment experience
  • Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role
  • Confident with an out-going personality
  • Previous work experience in a customer facing role
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a thorough work approach.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and understands how to develop strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Full clean drivers license
Responsibilities
  • Focus sales efforts by identifying existing and potential sales opportunities for our service portfolio by targeting and inspiring potential clients.
  • Create, manage and maintain an accurate pipeline for projects
  • Agree and achieve specific KPI’s
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity reports, monthly sales reports and pipelines
  • Establish new business by planning and organizing daily work schedule, targeting and presenting to existing or potential clients.
  • Identify opportunities for the team to proactively offer insights, thought leadership and points of view to the client.
