The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and securing new
business opportunities for interior fit-out and joinery projects across commercial,
residential, hospitality, and retail sectors. The role focuses on growing market share,
developing strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets aligned with the
company’s strategic objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Interior Design, Civil
Engineering, or a related field.
MBA is a plus.
EXPERIENCE:
5–8 years of business development experience in the interior fit-out, joinery, or
construction industry in the UAE/GCC.
Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing high-value
projects.
Strong network of contacts in the commercial, retail, residential, and hospitality sectors.
Key Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong knowledge of interior fit-out processes, materials, and project lifecycles.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and proposal preparation.
Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
UAE driving license is mandatory.
Sales & Lead Generation
Generate new business leads through networking, market research, cold calling, and
referrals.
Develop a strong sales pipeline by identifying and pre-qualifying potential clients
and projects.
Prepare proposals, presentations, and bids tailored to client requirements.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants, contractors,
and developers.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients from lead generation through to
contract closure.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
Market & Competitor Analysis
Stay updated with industry trends, client preferences, market pricing, and
competitor strategies.
Identify niche market opportunities and provide input for the development of new
services or offerings.
Tendering & Commercial Coordination
Coordinate with estimation, design, and project teams to prepare and submit
competitive bids and tenders.
Review contract terms, scope of work, and pricing to ensure compliance and
profitability.
Track and follow up on submitted bids and proposals to convert into awarded
projects.
Reporting & Strategy
Maintain accurate sales records, CRM data, and pipeline forecasts.
Report regularly on business development activities, market feedback, and progress
against targets.
Contribute to the company’s strategic planning and annual business development
goals.
