This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 400000 - Rs 650000 (ie INR 4-6.5 LPA) Experience: 3+ yrs Location: Bengaluru Job Type: full-time We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive outbound sales and pipeline growth across global markets. This role is focused on strategic prospecting, lead generation, and building meaningful client relationships through consultative outreach. You will play a key role in identifying business opportunities, engaging decision-makers, and contributing directly to revenue growth. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys outbound sales, understands B2B buying behaviour, and thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You should be comfortable handling cold outreach, nurturing prospects, and collaborating with internal teams to convert opportunities into long-term business relationships. Key Responsibilities Drive outbound lead generation through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and strategic prospecting activities Identify and engage high-potential accounts across industries and global markets Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent outreach and follow-ups Qualify prospects using structured sales frameworks and understand client pain points, budgets, and business goals Schedule and coordinate meetings with key stakeholders and decision-makers Use modern sales and prospecting tools to improve outreach efficiency and personalization Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activities, and pipeline updates Collaborate with internal sales and strategy teams to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities Track outreach performance metrics and continuously optimize conversion strategies Build long-term relationships with prospects through value-driven communication and engagement What Makes You a Great Fit 3–5 years of experience in business development, outbound sales, lead generation, or pre-sales roles Strong experience in B2B prospecting and pipeline development Confident in cold outreach and engaging prospects through calls, emails, and LinkedIn Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills Comfortable working with CRM platforms and lead generation tools Strong research and analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to outreach Ability to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups simultaneously with strong attention to detail Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently Experience working in services, consulting, IT services, or design-led environments is an advantage Familiarity with tools like Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and modern sales automation platforms is a plus Adaptable mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
