Job Summary: The Business Development Executive will play a crucial role in the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, generating sales leads, and fostering relationships with clients. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset to contribute to the company’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Market Research:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through research, networking, cold calling, and other business development activities.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to stay ahead of industry shifts.
- Conduct competitor analysis and identify gaps in the market that can be leveraged for business growth.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Understand client needs and offer customized solutions that meet their objectives.
- Regularly follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
- Sales & Negotiation:
- Present and demonstrate the company’s products or services to potential clients.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and pricing models based on client requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve sales strategies and meet business goals.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with the marketing team to create and implement marketing strategies for lead generation.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as operations, finance, and product development to ensure smooth delivery of services to clients.
- Support senior management in implementing business development strategies.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in CRM systems.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, pipeline progress, and sales performance.
- Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer feedback, and competitors.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related field (typically 1-3 years).
- Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Time management and organizational skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Sales targets met or exceeded.
- Number of new leads generated.
- Successful deals closed and new accounts acquired.
- Client satisfaction and retention rates.
