Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Business Development Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the commercial team in driving business growth, market expansion, and operational excellence. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across key functions such as sales, marketing, business development, and strategic planning. By taking the wheel, your proactive learning, critical thinking skills and collaborative engagement will contribute effectively to Hegen.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide dependable support to the Commercial Department in the local, international and partnerships pillars, such as online & offline order management via e-commerce, retail channels, trade partners, international distributors management and corporate partnerships
  • Work closely with the Trade Marketing Team to achieve the commercial objectives by assisting with administrative, logistical and executional work
  • Engage both internal and external stakeholders by exercising professional communication skills and documenting information for the team
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, proposals, and business reports as required
  • Maintain a performance tracking system to keep track of Commercial activities
  • Conduct market and industry research as required by the Commercial Team to identify and explore possibilities for the Commercial Department
  • Drive the planning of Commercial events such as Distributor’s Summit, Mummy’s Market Baby Fair and other Trade Marketing events
  • Understand the e-commerce tools / technologies and other Commercial Team technological solutions to operate the systems
  • Any other tasks assigned by Reporting Officer
